Fate/Zero Anime Announced!

It is revealed on the February issue of Young Ace that the anime adaptation of Gen Uroboshi (Blassreiter) and Type-Moon's Fate/Zero light novel has been green-lit!

To those who haven't read the original novel, it takes place during the Fourth Holy Grail War, a decade before the original Fate/stay night series. It stars Shirou Emiya's adopted father, Kiritsugu Emiya and his Servant, Saber (Still the same Saber back in Fate/stay night. you know, the gender bended King Arthur...) aside from these two, familiar faces coming from the original series will appear such as the Archer class Servant, Gilgamesh and Kirei Kotomine.

The anime studio, ufotable (Coyote Ragtime Show, Black Rock Shooter the Game, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Sonic X) will be in-charge with the animation as revealed in an advertising found in the sixth volume of Type-Moon Ace.

Also, the official website of Fate/Zero is now open but as of now, it only displays the same image in the cover of the original light novel.

I have read the first few pages of the light novel but because of my busy schedule, I wasn't able to finish it. But all I can say is, it has major reference to Illya! Plus, Tohsaka's family has quite an involvement in this one!
