Next year's volume of Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine announced that the popular anime, Hayate no Gotoku (Trans. Hayate the Combat Butler) will have a movie!
The film will be directed by first-time film director, Hideto Komori (Darker than Black) with the studio, Manglobe (The World God Only Knows) helming the project. Also, Yasuko Kobayashi (Kamen Rider Ryuki, Kamen Rider Den-O, Kamen Rider OOO, Casshern Sins, Shakugan no Shana) will be writing the script.
The original anime is about a boy named Hayate who serves as a butler, bodyguard, confidante, and more to a girl named Nagi to pay off a 156,804,000-yen (about US$1.8-million) debt... while trying to insert amounts of anime, manga and tokusatsu references!
