To be exact, OOO Takapandaba Combo in Ganbaride arcade action! Just recently, someone posted two videos on YouTube regarding this Panda Medal. First is how the Combo will sound once inserted in the OOODriver and scanned and second, how it can be utilized in the game.
It sounds like it is one of OOO's Random Combos, nothing special. Anyways, here is the video of it being used in the Ganbaride arcade which featured OOO teaming up with Den-O and their opponents are Hibiki and Amazon (YAYYY!).

Just a few hours ago, Kamen Rider OOO's full red combo, Kamen Rider OOO TaJyaDol Combo (Ukiya: Which I will use since that is the proper romanization of this combo, Toei really needs to learn more English), also known as the Blazing Combo finally debuts! It utilizes Ankh's Taka (Hawk), Kujaku (Peafowl), and Condor Core Medals.
Kamen Rider OOO TaJyaDol Combo debuts in the recently aired Kamen Rider OOO 20th episode: The Decoy, the Qualifications, and the Blazing Combo. His primary weapon is the TajyaSpinner and his Scanning Charge is called Prominence Drop. His theme song is called, Time Judged All by Eiji Hino and Ankh.
Toei Animation Studios is featured here in the Philippines countless times and just recently, a Japanese TV station, Kansai TV had a special that focuses on the in-between animation of the popular anime, One Piece!
Aside from that, they also featured anime influences here in the Philippines such as cosplay (in which a friend of mine was featured), people watching anime on TV, anime art found on local jeepneys and manga available in bookstores. Also, the local dubbing of One Piece is also featured and all I have to say is, poor Vincent Gutierrez. If only that guy hear his Lelouch voice!
Toei Animation Studio Philippines was established back in 1986 will celebrate its 25th Anniversary this year and is responsible in doing key animation and in-between animation for your favorite anime titles! The facility was established as a measure to cut costs for the company, since the production work being done in Korea was becoming prohibitively expensive. Currently, it houses over 150 animators and support staff, and they work on the bulk of the animation process for each episode of One Piece except for storyboarding and post production. This studio help produce the Japanese Toei Studio popular anime titles such as: Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon and Slam Dunk back in the day.
Currently, they are working on with One Piece, Dragon Ball Kai, Heartcatch! Pretty Cure (in which in one local TV feature, was mistaken as Sailor Moon *points at Ka-Blog*) and the upcoming Jump Heroes Film in which they are working on Toriko's part! Other anime films that they were involved are some of the Pretty Cure films and Clannad the Movie in which they are featured at the end credits!
Fun fact: According to this feature, The Philippine Toei Animation Studio produces more anime frames compared to its Japanese counterpart! Cool!
Just wondering: At the end of the video, according to the narrator, based on how I see it, it seems that Eiichiro Oda is part of those who are watching this special. To those who understand Japanese, please tell me.
Just wondering 2: Also, even if we have a Toei Studio here, we are still on stuck on the same season for more than a year (to be exact, One Piece here in the Philippines is still on Season 9, current season is 13), hopefully that GMA will finish this season this year.
At the end of the video, all I can say is, I am proud to be a Filipino and in case I will go the capital, one of the places that I want to visit is the Toei Studio here in the Philippines!
Special thanks to JEFusion for the link and Magnetic Rose for the additional info!
Just recently, someone has just uploaded clips of Kamen Rider W FOREVER: A-Z The Gaia Memories of Fate on YouTube. To those who don't know, the said film will be released on DVD and BluRay on January 21 and based on this copy, it seems that the uploader used the rental copy! Anyways, here is your early taste on Kamen Rider Eternal vs. W FangJoker, Kamen Rider Joker vs. Heat Dopant and W CycloneJoker Gold Xtreme's first appearance! And as a bonus, clip of OOO's debut on the film... with a different henshin sequence!
Kamen Rider Eternal vs. W FangJoker
I seriously love how Eternal flicks his dagger! Also, I notice a couple of wire action here. This is indeed a film directed by Koichi Sakamoto.
Kamen Rider Accel vs. Weather Dopant (T2) and Nasca Dopant (T2) and later, Trigger Dopant
... which includes brief Shotaro and Terui bromance and hints on how Terui ended up marrying Akiko. and seriously, Trigger Dopant's first transformation sequence is epic!
Kamen Rider Joker's First Transformation and Fight! Later, Metal Dopant and much later, Kamen Rider Eternal
Transforming inside the agency while pulling a couple of Kamen Rider references? Epic. Fighting Heat Dopant with her doing a lot of back flips? Awesome. And later ramming the bike towards a bunch of Masquerade Dopants before facing them, ONE BY ONE? Kamen Rider Joker has just raised the bar in terms of Kamen Rider Badassery.
Kamen Rider OOO Debuts and Fights Luna Dopant!
So this is how Eiji first debuted in Futo! Also, notice a different transformation sequence in this clip.
Kamen Rider W CycloneJoker Gold Xtreme Debut
I love the XTyphoon close-up shot! Anyways, that explains why he can go gold! Just let the center of the belt spin rapidly while on Xtreme. That explains the incident that happened on Movie Wars Core! Also, WBX is playing on the background? Epic.
Update 1: Placed Luna Dopant vs. Kamen Rider OOO which includes OOO's henshin sequence. Update 2: Placed Trigger Dopant vs. Kamen Rider Accel. Update 3: Updated Accel's video which now includes his fight with T2 Nasca and T2 Weater Dopants and a full length scene on how he ended up fighting the Trigger Dopant. Update 4: Placed a better Kamen Rider Joker fight which includes his first transformation sequence, his fight against Heat Dopant, a couple of Masquerade Dopants, Metal Dopant and Kamen Rider Eternal. Rider Kick and Rider Punch finishers included... now with better quality.
I therefore conclude, STOP TEASING US ALREADY! JUST POST THE RENTAL DVD RIP! Oh I forgot, Toei might remove it. Sorry.
As we all know, Itano Tomomi (aka Kamen Rider W's Queen) of AKB48 will be releasing her own solo album entitled, Dear J which will be released this January 26. Just recently, she performed her single on TV! Special thanks to Tokyohive for the video!
Since today is Christmas Eve (if you are somewhere in Asia that is), one of my plans is to review the Christmas episode of Toradora!
But due to the lack of resources (to be exact, my dinosaur PC decided to go "blue screen of death" mode), I decided to just do the next best thing, post the complete music video of Holy Night, the song sang by Taiga and Ami during their Christmas party... and its in Spanish subs! Feliz Navitad!
Okay, to sum up the entire episode, Takasu slowly realizes his feelings for Taiga, got dumped by Minori, Taiga is having a rough day ahead of her and she learned that Takasu is pedobear. :P Merry Christmas everybody!
Go! Go! Samurai! You can think of it as either a pun for the Japanese word for "five" or either a throwback to the original Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers theme song, but anyways, here is the morphing sequence of the Samurai Rangers and their fight against an army of Nanashi... I mean, Moogers first found in PRS' official page on Nick!
Let me say from the start: I love the new morphers. Sure, they eliminated the brush point from Shinkenger but they replaced it with digital pointers and since they are the new generation of Rangers, it worked!
As for the morphing sequence, I am quite bothered with the ninja mask since it clearly shows how cultural blind the producers of PRS. Seriously, if they will make this show as close as Shinkenger as possible, retain the traditional Japanese clothing.
Since the next part is Shinkenger footage, I will not comment on this but I will comment on the dubbing. For starters, it is a little... off. Asides from the return of the cheesy dialogue and the puns, which returned the fun but it made the show a little noisy and rather ruined the supposed disciplined Samurais into those cheesy teens from Angel Grove, but hey, they are still rookies so I can let that pass.
Overall, the new morphing sequence reminded me of the situation back in Jungle Fury in which the Solar Morphers ruined the epic morphing sequence, in this case, the ninja mask. It is still too early to decide if PR Samurai will be as good as Shinkenger (like most people say), but hey, at least they teased us on signs of things to come.
Roamed a around a little and stumbled upon xxxholic/wing's post about Maya Kumashiro of Occult Academy doing a cover of Morning Musume's 1999 hit, Love Machine... while seeing an edited music video with scenes coming from the anime which includes zombie headmaster dancing!
Fun fact: Maya's seiyuu, Yoko Hikasa is also the seiyuu of K-ON!'s Mio Akiyama. No wonder I was fangasming a little bit while hearing her sing! For the full length cover, you can check this one. For the original Morning Musume hit, you can check this one.
We now have a glimpse on how Kamen Rider Birth in the series! In this clip which was found in the TV Special for the upcoming Movie Wars Core film, he is seen using his primary weapon, the Birth Buster and change into his Crane Arm!
From the SpoonyExperiment, he presents... Who is the Deadliest? Is it Godzilla's Mechagodzilla or MMPR's or if you are a little Japanese, Zyuranger's Megazord/Daizyujin!
Who will win? Mechagodzilla or the Megazord? Watch the video to find out!
In the recent episode of FujiTV's SMAP × SMAP talk show, they showed a preview of the upcoming Space Battleship YAMATO live action movie adaptation's first two minutes. The movie stars SMAP member Kimura Takuya as Susumu Kodai and actress Kuroki Meisa as Yuki Mori.
On this second clip, the world's last hope, YAMATO, ascends from Earth to fire the Wave Motion Gun against an alien invader.
Space Battleship YAMATO took place on the year 2199, when the Earth has been under radioactive siege from the Gamilas Empire for five years. Earth's population has moved underground to escape the bombardment, but the contamination is slowly penetrating to reach them. The crew sets out on a journey to the planet Iscandar to acquire a device that can heal the ravaged Earth before it is too late.
Space Battleship YAMATO will open in Japanese theaters today, December 1, 2010.
We all love BLACK along with his epic pose, and everything epic that he did. But even with those facts, newer fans tend to bash BLACK's costume as pretty dull or ugly, if I will give you this situation. What if Toei decreased the budget for BLACK and decided to place more of it to Super Sentai? Here are the possible and at the same time, hilarious results.
For the opening sequence!
For the ending sequence!
For the first episode!
Kudos to SuperLowBudgetFilms for this hilarious attempt in recreating childhood!
Not actually every anime opening made ever, but according to the creator's description, he noticed a lot of similarities of most anime opening themes, and so, he decided to create a mash up of all the opening themes he likes to put in his video!
This is the only time I ever noticed that they liked running, seeing some random scenery, birds, more running...
On the show's 12th episode called, An Eel, the World, and the Gravity Combo, after OOO fights Uva, Gamel and the Butterfly Yummy, OOO was able to grab three of Gamel's Core Medals, making him lose the armor in his legs giving way on the debut of OOO's heaviest combo, the Sagozo Combo!
Because of the attack, Uva lost his Kuwagata Core Medal... again. Also, according to neferir, Shu Watanabe posted on his blog that the name of OOO Sagozo Combo's theme song is Sun Goes Up, which just like the other Combo theme songs, a pun of the name of the said Combo. This song will be a, "heavy and powerful song just like the Combo."
This is a video clip from a Japanese variety show Culture Scoop, who let Hiroshi Fujioka walk around and wander in the streets of Thailand. They are testing the Thai people to see how many will be able recognize him as the legendary Kamen Rider 1.
Although the video is untranslated, you can very much understand what's going on. Especially the on the second half of the segment wherein people begun to recognize him as Takeshi Hongo aka Kamen Rider 1. There's kinda a fan gathering of Kamen Rider fans from Thailand and they begun to sing "Let's Go!! Rider Kick," the original Kamen Rider's theme song.
Well, the untranslated ones actually. Someone at Youku uploaded the Net Movies in its RAW form. So to those who can't wait for the subs to come out, posted on the link below you is all 26 Kamen Rider W Net Movies!
The fun thing in here is that, all of these Net Movies were uploaded at a single day, November 12! Note: All of the episodes are arranged in reverse alphabetical order. Meaning, the episodes are arranged from Z to A.
Since the Cho Den-O Episode Red has been subbed, I decided to watch it yesterday and from all the scenes that came from the film, here's my personal favorite: Deneb's plan to make Airi and Yuuto closer!
It still bothers me up until now why Hana doesn't address her parents as Mom or Dad but as Airi and Yuuto? Bad daughter! Bad!
Here's the music video of Anything Goes! by Maki Ohguro, the theme song of Kamen Rider OOO. At the end of the video, the Ska Foundation Version is being played you can download all four versions of Anything Goes! here!
This video has too many jazz elements to it! Now I see how much W has influenced anyone, aside that it made everything connected in one universe! Oh, Uva vs. OOO!
